Yes. On the official website we pay no commission to the portal, so we can keep the rate lower and add an upgrade when a room is available. Same room, same breakfast, same hotel: what changes is how much stays with the hotel and how much you pay.

It depends on the rate you choose. The payment and cancellation conditions of each rate are shown in the booking engine before you confirm: read them there, so there are no surprises. If you have a doubt about a particular rate, call or write to us and we will explain it.

Yes: on flexible rates cancellation is free up to 72 hours before arrival. The same conditions you find on the portals, without intermediaries.

Yes. The standard rate on this website includes accommodation and breakfast: a buffet with warm croissants, cakes, bread, cold cuts and cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices and coffee. No surprise charges on departure.

At via dei Calzaiuoli 11 blu, the pedestrian street connecting the Duomo to Piazza della Signoria. Facing the Duomo, the hotel is 50 metres to your right, between Salmoiraghi e Viganò and the Disney Store. Florence has double street numbering: shops are red, residences are blue. We are number 11 blue.

From 7 am to 10 pm, every day, on the third floor. During those hours you will always find someone from the hotel, not a call centre. If you expect to arrive after 10 pm, write or call us before you travel so we can agree together how to handle your arrival.

The building is a historic palazzo in the centre and the hotel occupies several floors. The lift takes you to reception on the third floor, where the Family room and the Suite are too. Double Comfort rooms are on the first floor and are reached by lift. The New Small Double, the Economy Triple and the New Triple are on the fourth floor: the last flight is on foot, which is why they cost less. On every room, here on the website, you will find how it is reached.

You can drive right up to the hotel: unload your luggage and come to the front desk. The car cannot stay on the street, though, because we are inside the ZTL and in a pedestrian zone. The partner garage takes care of it: someone comes to collect the keys, drives the car away and brings it back to the hotel door when you leave. It costs 36 € a day, 50 € for minivans and large vehicles, paid at the desk. Tell us you are coming by car when you book.

From Santa Maria Novella it is a flat 900-metre, 12-minute walk: via Panzani, via dei Cerretani, Piazza Duomo, then right into via dei Calzaiuoli. From Vespucci airport: tram T2 to the Unità stop and then a 700-metre walk, or a taxi at the fixed daytime fare.

No: the City of Florence tourist tax is charged per person per night and is paid at the hotel, as with any portal. In the website quote it is shown separately, before you confirm.

Yes: Junior Suites and Suites host up to four guests with a sofa bed, and Superior rooms are also available as triples. If you need several rooms, write to us: we try to place you close together.

Yes, we have a luggage room and the service is free for our guests, both on arrival day and on departure day, during reception opening hours: from 7 am to 10 pm.
