What we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily provide through the forms on this website (name, email, stay dates, message) and technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), collected in aggregate form by measurement tools if you have given consent.
Bookings are handled by the Scidoo booking engine, which acts as an independent controller for the data required to process the booking and the payment.
Why we process it
- to answer requests sent through the forms (legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request);
- to manage the booking and the stay and to fulfil legal obligations, including reporting to public security authorities (legal basis: contract and legal obligation);
- to measure how the website is used and improve it (legal basis: consent).
How long we keep it
Messages received through the forms are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months. Accounting and tax records are kept for 10 years, as required by law.
Who we share it with
Data is never disclosed publicly. It may be processed by suppliers assisting us in delivering the service (website hosting, booking engine, property management system, email services), appointed as data processors, and shared with the authorities where required by law.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to info@hotelmaximaxial.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
